KLK Oleo is part of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad ("KLK"), a reputable international plantation group listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, Bursa Malaysia. KLK celebrated its 100 year anniversary on 19 May 2006.
The origins of KLK can be traced back to 1906 when the original company, Kuala Lumpur Rubber Co., Ltd. was formed in London. It was subsequently moved to Malaysia in 1972 under a Scheme of Reconstruction. Plantations still remain the core business for KLK.
